A meeting was conducted on how to celebrate the 101st anniversary of the return of the country's independence.
The third meeting of the Coordinating Committee for the glorious celebration of the 101st anniversary of Afghanistan's Independence Day, chaired by Hasin Safi, Acting Minister for Women's Affairs, and attended by Ms. Nabila Mosleh, Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration, and a large number of representatives of the government institutions and non-government institutions.
At first, Shakila Nazari, Director of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Women's Affairs, provided required information on the results and progress of the previous two sessions. Subsequently, the Acting Minister of Women's Affairs thanked all the participants for attending the meeting, adding: "Throughout the history of the country, women alongside men have suffered many sacrifices, which requires the celebration of the 101st anniversary of the day of return." Afghanistan's independence the anonymous women of this land should be appreciated as per their dignity. She added that the brave and courageous women of the country have the important role to play in preserving Afghanistan's independence, and even the names of a some of them have been forgotten.
Then, the participants openly discussed and exchanged their opinions on holding a celebration in honor of 28 Asad, the 101st year of the return of the country's independence.
It is worth mentioned that the 101st anniversary of Afghanistan's Independence Day is to be celebrated by the Ministry of Women's Affairs under the slogan "The strength of the country's independence lies in the freedom of women".
