Nabila Musleh, Deputy Minister of Women’s Affairs for Finance and Administrative Affairs Meets Auditor General of Supreme Audit Office

On May 08, 2018, Ms. Nabila Musleh met Auditor General of Supreme Audit Office. The objective of the meeting was to handle problems of women’s garden.

In addition to explaining the historical background and activities of women’s garden, the Deputy Minister for Finance and Administrative Affairs said, “Before, the women’s garden was only open on Thursdays and Fridays for women to entertain and tour. Then, as per the decision of Supreme Audit Office it was open on working days too, for generating money.  But, it resulted in destruction of green area and disturbance of workflow of Kabul Directorate of Women’s Affairs.” She added, “Based on our findings, this garden is not economically efficient on working days.”

Appreciating the participation of Deputy Minister for Finance and Administrative Affairs and partner delegation, Auditor General of the Supreme Audit Office decided to open the women’s garden only on weekends (Thursdays and Fridays) for women to entertain and tour in order not to create problems in the workflow of Kabul Directorate of Women’s Affairs.
